Most people are familiar with the Republican and Democratic parties, but there are many different political parties in Massachusetts. Currently the majority of Massachusetts voters are not members of any political party, and therefore call themselves "independent." The correct term is "unenrolled" because they are not enrolled in any political party. This document list the current parties and offers information on how to enroll or change your enrollment.
