Annual Town Caucus
The Town of Wales holds an annual Town Caucus every April at the Wales Senior Center at 7PM. The caucus is where nominations are made for town offices up for re-election that year. The need for our community members to participate on boards and/or commissions is vital to our town functioning properly, if you have any interest in being an active member in our community please consider running for one of the elected office's needed.

If you are nominated at the Town Caucus, please contact the Town Clerk's office to confirm or refuse the nomination. You can call 413-245-7571 x101 or email townclerk@townofwales.net.
Those of you who choose to run for office by taking out nomination papers can pick up the nomination papers the night of the caucus or the day after at the Town Clerk's office on April 13th between 9AM-3PM. All nomination papers must have the legible signatures with correct residential address of twenty (20) registered voters of the Town of Wales. It is recommended that you get at least twenty-five (25) signatures in case some are disqualified.
**All persons on the ballot are required to complete form CPF M101. If you do not intend on using funds for your campaign then form CPF M109 needs to be completed with CPF M101 and returned to the clerks office. If you do anticipate spending money on your campaign, please see the Town Clerk's office for a more detailed explanation of reporting for Campain Finance.
