Town Caucus

If you want to be involved in Town government, and help to steer the Town, you can run for office.  Attend the Town Caucus, or ask someone to nominate you at the Caucus, for one of the positions up for election this spring. Here's the list of seats up for election this year. The Town can't function unless people volunteer their time and expertise. If you have an area of interest, but don't feel like you are qualified, training is available from the State of Massachusets or from groups affiliated with the various Boards or Committees. Willingness, commitment and cooperation are the most necessary qualifications. Most positions receive a tiny stipend, and the real payoff is the sense of satisfaction from knowing that you are making a difference, despite the frustrations of the job.
