Wales Cultural Council

The Wales Cultural Council administers funds received from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, ( which receives money each year from the Lottery) to local organizations, so that the local organizations (schools, Senior Center, Library, etc.) can present cultural activities for the community.

Some events in the past have been: professional storytellers, a Musical Zoo, pastel drawing class, puppeteers, magicians, singers and musicians, a travelling planetarium, and a potter. Community organizations can request funding for events to benefit the community.
