Instructions for Submitting Referendum Papers After the Town Clerk’s Office Closes on August 24, 2022
After the office closes at 2 p.m. and before the 5 p.m. deadline, you may call 860-805-9847-to arrange to submit the papers. If you do not have cell phone service, please go to the Wales Public Library at 77 Main St. and ask them to allow you to call. The clerk will meet you at the office to receive the papers and provide a receipt. No calls will be accepted after 5 p.m.
