Testing the Ballots and Voting Machine

The Town Clerk will be testing the ballots and the Imagecast Precinct Tabulator (ICP) today to ensure that the ballots are correctly printed and can be read and totaled by the ICP. Absentee, Early and Regular ballots are removed from the shipment packages and marked by hand or by the Automark device. The ballots are then fed through the ICP and a total produced. The ballots are counted by hand, and the results are compared to the machine results to ensure that everything is ready for November 6, 2018.The public is invited to attend.
