Finance Committee position posting

The Finance Committee is seeking two new voting members and one alternate, non-voting member. Duties include working with other Finance Committee members to review and evaluate departmental budget requests, meet with Town employees and residents to assist with budget issues, provide recommendations for upcoming warrant articles, research various items that arise, and to provide an overall budget recommendation to be voted on in the Annual Town Meeting. Member will be expected to gain a familiarity with applicable Mass General Laws and will be provided with free necessary training.

Member must be available to attend committee meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held more frequently during the budget preparation season.
